Where does Carla get her ideas?
As a creative person, having been an interior designer for decades and a lover of great midcentury modern and contemporary art, Carla J. Harrod saw a new opportunity to create a compelling fictionalized story based loosely on part of her own life experience.
Her love of travel always seems to take her back to her favorite place where her maternal grandparents came from in northern Italy. Hence the idyllic setting of Lake Como along with another favorite in the states, Palm Beach. Home, for most of the year, is on her grandparent’s farm, where she restored the circa1850s barn into her residence. She still winters in Palm Beach, staying busy with friends, and various charitable organizations. Her love of travel continues…
